Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘The fast of the fourth, the fast of  the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth  months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the  house of Judah; so love truth and peace.” (Zechariah 8:19)

Greetings Renewed Life Fellowship and Visitors!  Once again it  is indeed an honor and blessing to have this opportunity to  welcome you to the launch of our Annual 40 Days of Prayer  and Fasting (Wednesday, September 6 – Sunday, October  15, 2023). The Theme for the 40-day period is:  Accomplishing Greater Works by the Power of Prayer and  Fasting – Theme Scripture: “However, this kind does not go  out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:21). Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline which empowers us to  see developments in identifiable areas of our lives. By fasting  and prayer, the Holy Spirit has the ability to transform lives,  churches, communities, nations, and the entire world. All  throughout the Bible, the people of God steadily fasted and  prayed to grow closer to Him and experience breakthroughs in  specific and other areas. Jesus himself spent time in fasting  and prayer (40 days and 40 nights) during His life on earth;  therefore, He expected His followers to fast as well.

Throughout these 40 days of Prayer and Fasting, my prayer  and hope is that we will all strive for deeper fellowship with  God as we focus and rely on Him to accomplish greater works  through us; and at the conclusion, our relationship with Him  will be deepened and strengthened as we witness His move  supernaturally in us. 

May the Lord graciously bless you, and as you seek Him, He  will cause His face to shine upon you.
