God’s Everlasting Word!

SCRIPTURE READINGS FOR NOVEMBER 29-DECEMBER 5, 2020
MEDITATION: GOD’S EVERLASTING WORD!

Sunday 29 Colossians 3
Monday 30 Matthew 4
Tuesday 1 Hebrews 4
Wednesday 2 James 5
Thursday 3 Job 23
Friday 4 John 1
Saturday 5 Revelation 21

DAILY FOCUS

SUNDAY 29 LET THE ETERNAL WORD OF GOD HAVE ITS HOME WITHIN YOUR HEARTS!
“15 Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling
factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were
called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. 16 Let the [spoken]
word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind—permeating every
aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all
wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord
Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Colossians 3 Vs 15-17(AMP)

MONDAY 30 DON’T BE SUBJECTED TO LIVE BY THE FLESH—BE GOVERNED BY THE ETERNAL WORD OF GOD!
“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after He
had fasted forty days and forty nights, Heathen became hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said
to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” 4 But He
answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS
OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.”
Matthew 4 Vs 1-4 (NASB)

TUESDAY 1 THE WORD OF GOD IS POWERFUL—FULLY EQUIPPED WITH SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH!
“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and
effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul
and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our
nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And not a creature
exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, and revealed to the
eyes of Him with whom we have to give account.”
Hebrews 4 Vs 12-13(AMP)

WEDNESDAY 2 THE HEARTFELT AND PERSISTENT PRAYERS OF A BELIEVER CAN ACCOMPLISH MUCH!
“Is anyone among you suffering? He must pray. Is anyone joyful? He is to sing praises [to God].
14 Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they
are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; 15 and the prayer of faith will
restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be
forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray
for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a
righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—
it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” Pray as the Spirit of God leads you.
James 5 Vs 13-16(AMP)

THURSDAY 3 STAY TRUE TO THE WORD OF GOD AND TREASURE IT ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE “But he knows
the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. 11 My feet have closely
followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. 12 I have not departed from the
commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.”
Job 23 Vs 10-12(NIV)

FRIDAY 4 JESUS IS THE LIVING WORD “In the beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. 2 He was [continually existing] in the
beginning [co-eternally] with God. 3All things were made and came into existence through Him;
and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being. 4 In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines on in the
darkness, and the darkness did not understand it or overpower it or appropriate it or absorb it
[and is unreceptive to it].”
John 1 Vs 1-5 (AMP)

SATURDAY 5 THE WORD OF GOD IS ETERNAL! “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the
tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and
God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their
eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any
more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6And he said unto me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give
unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”
Rev 21 Vs 3-6 (KJV)

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT Proverbs 30:5-6 (KJV) says: “Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee and thou be found a liar.”

May Our Hearts be Encouraged!

SCRIPTURE READINGS FOR NOVEMBER 22-28, 2020
MEDITATION: MAY YOUR HEARTS BE ENCOURAGED!

Sunday 22 Hebrews 3
Monday 23 1 Thessalonians 5
Tuesday 24 Philippians 1
Wednesday 25 2 Corinthians 4
Thursday 26 Revelation 7
Friday 27 Colossians 2
Saturday 28 Romans 1

DAILY FOCUS

SUNDAY 22 CONTINUE TO ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER FOR THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!
“Take care, brothers and sisters, that there not be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving [d]heart
[which refuses to trust and rely on the Lord, a heart] that turns away from the living God. 13 But
continually encourage one another every day, as long as it is called “Today” [and there is an
opportunity], so that none of you will be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of
sin [its cleverness, delusive glamour, and sophistication].
14 For we [believers] have become partakers of Christ [sharing in all that the Messiah has for us], if only we hold firm our newborn confidence [which originally led us to Him] until the end,”
Hebrews 3 Vs 12-14 (AMP)

MONDAY 23 ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO LACK SPIRITUAL COURAGE!
“We [earnestly] urge you, believers, admonish those who are out of line [the undisciplined, the
unruly, the disorderly], encourage the timid [who lack spiritual courage], help the [spiritually]
weak, be very patient with everyone [always controlling your temper]. 15 See that no one repays
another with evil for evil, but always seek that which is good for one another and for all
people. 16 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in
every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to
God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench [subdue, or be
unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit. 20 Do not scorn or reject gifts of
prophecy or prophecies [spoken revelations—words of instruction or exhortation or
warning]. 21 But test [d]all things carefully [so you can recognize what is good]. Hold firmly to that
which is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil [withdraw and keep away from it].”
1 Thess 5 Vs 14-22(AMP)

TUESDAY 24 STAND FIRM AND CONDUCT YOURSELVES IN A MANNER WORTHY OF THE GOSPEL
OF CHRIST “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of
Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that
you stand firm in the one Spirit,[e]striving together as one for the faith of the gospel 28without
being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be
destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God.29 For it has been granted to you on behalf
of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.”
Philipp 1 Vs 27-29(NIV)

WEDNESDAY 25 LOOK NOT ON THE THINGS THAT ARE SEEN BUT SEE THE UNSEEN!
“16 Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our
outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day
by day. 17 For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal
weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent
splendor and an endless blessedness]! 18 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the
things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but
the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” Pray as the Spirit of God leads
you.
2 Corinth 4 Vs 16-18(AMP)
THURSDAY 26 IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL WHEN WE SEE JESUS—STAY FOCUSED UNTIL THE COMING DAY!
“They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any
scorching heat.17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will
guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Revel 7 Vs 16-17(NIV)

FRIDAY 27 STAY ENCOURAGED—BE FIRM IN YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST! “For I want you to know how great
a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are at Laodicea, and for all those who have
not personally seen my face, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in
love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of
understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I say this so that no one will delude you
with persuasive argument. 5 For even though I am absent in body, nevertheless I am with you in
spirit, rejoicing to see your good discipline and the stability of your faith in Christ.”
Coloss 2 Vs 1-5(NASB)

SATURDAY 28 KEEP THE FAITH—STAND STRONG IN THE LORD! “For I long to visit you so I can bring you some
spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. 12When we get together, I want to
encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
13 I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters,[e] that I planned many times to visit you, but I was prevented until now. I want to work among you and see spiritual fruit, just as I have seen among other
Gentiles.14 For I have a great sense of obligation to people in both the civilized world and the
rest of the world,[f] to the educated and uneducated alike.15 So I am eager to come to you in
Rome, too, to preach the Good News .”
Romans 1 Vs 11-15(NLT)

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT Hebrews 3:13 (NIV) says: “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”

Friday 20 Deuteronomy 27
Saturday 21 Joshua 24

DAILY FOCUS

SUNDAY 15 TRUE COMMITMENT IS PUTTING GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING WE DO AND LIVE
OUR LIVES TO PLEASE HIM! “Work hard so you can present yourself to God and
receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed
and who correctly explains the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 (NLT)

MONDAY 16 A HEART FULL OF LOVE FOR GOD IS A JOYFUL HEART—ONE THAT IS LOYAL AND
FULLY COMMITTED TO DO HIS WILL! “You shall love the LORD your God with all
your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire
being]. 6 These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be [written] on
your heart and mind. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children [impressing
God’s precepts on their minds and penetrating their hearts with His truths] and
shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road
and when you lie down and when you get up. 8And you shall bind them as a sign
on your hand (forearm), and they shall be used as bands (frontals, frontlets) on
your forehead. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house
and on your gates.”
DEUTER 6 5-9 (AMP)

TUESDAY 17 STAY TRUE AND BE COMMITTED TO THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE LORD!
“And so, my children listen to me, for all who follow my ways are joyful.33 Listen to
My instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it. 34 Joyful are those who listen to
Me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home! 35 For
Whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD.”
PROVERBS 8:32-35 (NLT)

WEDNESDAY 18 PRAYER IS THE ESSENCE OF A WONDERFUL AND COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP
WITH GOD—OUR HEAVENLY FATHER DELIGHTS IN OUR PRAYERS TO HIM!
“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him
on high, because he hath known my name. 15He shall call upon me, and I will
answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Be committed in
prayers and don’t forget to pray for each other and for lost souls—It’s not the will
of the father that anyone should perish.
PSALM 91 Vs 14-16 (KJV)

THURSDAY 19 BE FAITHFUL IN ALL YOUR WAYS TO THE LORD AND SERVE HIM WHOLE-
HEARTEDLY! “Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, and he went out again among the
people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim and turned them back to
the LORD, the God of their ancestors…9He gave them these orders: “You must
serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the LORD.”
2 CHRON 19 Vs 4-9 (NIV)

FRIDAY 20 DELIGHT YOURSELF IN DOING THE WILL OF GOD AND LET HIS WORD BE SEALED
IN YOUR HEART! “My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments
within you. 2 Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of
your eye. 3Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
PROVERBS 7 Vs 1-3 (NASB)

SATURDAY 21 TRUE WORSHIP IS GENUINE LOVE AND ADORATION, PROCLAMATIONS OF JOY,
GREAT REVERENCE AND ETERNAL COMMITMENT TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR!
“Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to
day.24 Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the
peoples. 25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared
above all gods. 26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the
heavens. 27 Splendor and majesty are before Him, strength and joy are in His place.
28Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and
strength. 29Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering, and
come before Him; worship the LORD in holy array.30 Tremble before Him, all the
earth; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved. 31 Let the
heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations,
“The LORD reigns.”
1 Chronicles 16 23-31 (NASB)

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT: PROVERBS 3:6 (TLB) says: “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.”

A Good God!

SCRIPTURE READINGS FOR NOVEMBER 8-14, 2020
MEDITATION: A GOOD GOD!

Sunday 8 John 3
Monday 9 Ephesians 2
Tuesday 10 Lamentations 3
Wednesday 11 1 John 5
Thursday 12 Malachi 3
Friday 13 Psalm 36
Saturday 14 Psalm 84

DAILY FOCUS

SUNDAY 8 THE GOODNESS OF GOD IS REVEALED IN HIS SON, JESUS, WHOM HE HAS SENT
FOR THE WHOLE WORLD! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3 Vs 16-17 (KJV)

MONDAY 9
“SALVATION IS NOT A REWARD FOR THE GOOD WE HAVE DONE, BUT IT’S AS A
RESULT OF GOD’S GRACE! “For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and
favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from
judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of
yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift
of God; 9 not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so
that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].”
Ephesians 2 Vs 8-9 (AMP)

TUESDAY 10 THE MERCIES OF GOD ARE GREAT AND FAR BEYOND MEASURE! “It is of the
LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion,
saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD is good unto them that wait
for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope
and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. 28He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him. 29He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be
hope. 30He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with
reproach. 31 For the LORD will not cast off for ever: 32But though he cause grief,
yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.”
Lamentations3 Vs 22-32 (KJV)

WEDNESDAY 11 THE EARS OR OUR HEAVENLY FATHER ARE INCLINED TO OUR PRAYERS— WHEN
YOU PRAY MAKE DEFINITE REQUESTS—HE HEARS OUR CRIES! “And if we know
[for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask,
we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to
us] the requests which we have asked from Him. 16 If anyone sees his brother
committing a sin that does not lead to death, he will pray and ask [on the
believer’s behalf] and God will for him give life to those whose sin is not leading to
death. There is a sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for this
[kind of sin]. 17All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death
[one can repent of it and be forgiven].” Pray on all occasions, as the spirit of God
leads you!
1 John 5 Vs 15-17 (AMP)

THURSDAY 12 TITHING AND OFFERING IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSSITY: OUR HEAVENLY FATHER
WILL SEND BLESSINGS OUR WAY WHEN WE STAY TRUE TO HIS COMMANDS!
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my
Temple. If you do,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of
heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to
take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard
them from insects and disease.[a] Your grapes will not fall from the vine before
they are ripe,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. 12 “Then all nations will call you
blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies.”
Malachi 3 Vs. 10-12 (NLT)

FRIDAY 13 NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO THE LOVINGKINDNESS OF OUR GOD!
“How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge
in the shadow of Your wings.8 They drink their fill of the [f]abundance of Your
house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. 9 For with You is
the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. 10O continue Your lovingkindness to
those who know You, and Your righteousness to the upright in heart.”
Psalm 36 Vs 7-10 (NASB)

SATURDAY 14 CHILDREN OF GOD ARE BLESSED AND FAVORED—NO GOOD THING DOES THE
FATHER OF GLORY WITHOLDS FROM THEM! “For the LORD God is a sun and
shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from
those whose walk is blameless.”
Psalm 84 Vs 11 (NIV)

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT: Psalm 30:5 (KJV) “For His anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Persevere! #2

SCRIPTURE READINGS FOR NOVEMBER 1 – 7, 2020
MEDITATION: PERSEVERE!

Sunday 1 Galatians 6
Monday 2 Job 17
Tuesday 3 Isaiah 53
Wednesday 4 Philippians 3
Thursday 5 Revelation 22
Friday 6 Joel 2
Saturday 7 2 Timothy 2

DAILY FOCUS
SUNDAY 1
PERSEVERE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORMS!
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will
receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. 13When tempted,
no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he
tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil
desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is
full-grown, gives birth to death; 16Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every
good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who
does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of
truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.”
James 1 Vs 12-18 (NIV)

MONDAY 2
CONTINUALLY MEDITATING AND FEEDING ON GOD’S WORD IS SPIRITUALLY FULFILLING!
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men’s advice, who do not hang around with
sinners, scoffing at the things of God. 2 But they delight in doing everything God wants them
to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow
him more closely. 3 They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season
without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.” Glory to God!
Psalm 1 Vs 1-3 (TLB)

TUESDAY 3
AS A FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST, SHARE THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION TO THOSE
WHO ARE LOST! “I have a duty to perform and a debt to pay both to Greeks and to
barbarians [the cultured and the uncultured], both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So, for
my part, I am ready and eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. 16 I am not
ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and
punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the
Greek. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith
and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever
remains written, “THE JUST and UPRIGHT SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”
Romans 1 Vs 14-17 (AMP)

WEDNESDAY 4
BE PERSISTENT IN WATCHING AND PRAYING—NO ONE KNOWS THE HOUR OF THE
MASTER’S RETURN! As long as we have life, we must pray; as long as there are sinners in
the world— pray; as long as our children, loved ones, and unsaved family members are
lost—we must fervently pray! God’s interest in man is to have every soul saved—it’s not His
will that any should perish! Satan is still on the loose so prayer should never be an option,
but it must be a necessity—our prayers to the true living God will resist him. “Take ye heed,
watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a
far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his
work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when
the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the
morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.37And what I say unto you I say unto
all, Watch.” Pray for the lost, all nations and for the body of Christ!
Mark 13 Vs 33-37 (KJV)

THURSDAY 5
WITH MUCH PERSEVERENCE, WE MUST FULFILL THE MINISTRY WE WERE CALLED TO
DO! “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and
encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people
will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around
them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn
their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.5 But you, keep your head in all
situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your
ministry.”
2 Tim 4 Vs 2-5 (NIV)

FRIDAY 6
OPPOSITION WILL ALWAYS ARISE WHEN WE ARE DETERMINED TO DO THE WORK OF THE
LORD—PERSEVERE, GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE! Satan’s will use all kinds of schemes and tactics
to stir up trouble, but when we stay focus and trust in God, he could never win! When
Sanballat learnt that the Jews were rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem, he got angry and in the
presence of his associates and the army of Samaria, he mocked God’s people. Nehemiah
cried out to the God of Heaven for them not be ridiculed. God confused their enemy; and
the laborers carried on their work from sunrise to sunset, They persevered and the wall of
Jerusalem was finished on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days; when the enemy and
surrounding nations heard of the Jews’ completion of the wall, they lose confidence and
thought it could only be the hand of God who had helped them. Glory to the most-high God!
Also read Nehemiah 6:15-16.
Nehemiah 4 Vs 15-23 (KJV)

SATURDAY 7
PERSEVERE IN THE WORD—LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD AND LOVE OTHERS AS THE BIBLE
HAS INSTRUCTED! “Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel!
The LORD our God is the one and only LORD. 30And you must love the LORD your God with all
your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally
